Cinnamon Blueberry Smoothie Feb 3rd 2014, 23:16 A smoothie with a hint of fall from The Simple Veganista. | Rating: 0 Created: Feb 3, 2014 11:16:27 PM | | Pav Bhaji Feb 3rd 2014, 22:30 It's the Indian vegetarian version of sloppy joes. This recipe is from the Everest Pav Bhaji Masala box. It can be made using all sorts of bread, but a lighter white bread is best. Potatoes, cauliflower, green pepper and peas are traditional vegetables, but you can substitute other vegetables, like carrots, that will get soft enough to mash. Buy your pav bhaji masala online, at an Indian store, or you can make your own. | Rating: 0 Created: Feb 3, 2014 10:30:22 PM | | Rita's Root Vegetable Latkes Feb 3rd 2014, 21:39 Entered for safe-keeping, by Rita Milos Brownstein, "Jewish Holiday Style". | Rating: 0 Created: Feb 3, 2014 9:39:25 PM | | Jello Shots: Root Beer Float Feb 3rd 2014, 21:28 I love to create new surprises for our neighborhood gatherings, so this is one that I've made in the past, but the most recent that I've posted. I think that they may be made non-alcoholic by using more flattened root beer to replace the schnapps and vodka and adding a drop of vanilla extract (but I've never tried). *NOTE: Prep time includes cooling and refrigeration time. I hope you enjoy them. | Rating: 0 Created: Feb 3, 2014 9:28:43 PM | | Lynda's Miracle Latkes Feb 3rd 2014, 21:06 Entered for safe-keeping, By Lynda Shayer, Executive Director of Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem. With this combination of flavors, why wouldn't it? From Joyce Goldstein's "The Mediterranean Kitchen", 1989. Ice creams freeze best if the mixture is well-chilled, preferably refrigerated overnight. | Rating: 0 Created: Feb 3, 2014 6:52:03 PM | | Pork Shepherd's Pie Feb 3rd 2014, 18:50 I got this recipe from a Taste of Home cookbook. It is a bit time consuming, but worth the effort! My husband suggested putting in some veggies, because what is Shepherd's pie without them? I used fresh carrots and corn, which I cooked beforehand. I also used regular mustard instead of Dijon, since that's what I had on hand. I used pork chops cooked in the crockpot with a little broth. | Rating: 0 Created: Feb 3, 2014 6:50:14 PM | | Honey Mousse Feb 3rd 2014, 18:37 A simple but voluptuous dessert for honey lovers, from Joyce Goldstein's "The Mediterranean Kitchen", 1989. For a party, buy the large frozen tortellini available at grocery stores, and increase the quantities of all other ingredients.
