I make the casserole the night before and let it sit in the fridge over night. In the morning I pop it in the oven and cook up the bacon or sausage while it cooks. Super easy and super delish. We have used it for everything from apple pies to quiche and chicken pot pie. We use a KitchenAid with the dough hook which is why we mix it in the order that we do. I've tweaked the recipe some to suit my family's and my own personal taste, and my family just goes crazy over it!
