Raw Mixed Berry Crisp Jun 3rd 2013, 21:32 Mixed berries topped with a delightful rich crumble of nuts and dates. This is great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but recently took this to a pot luck were it was a hit even without the ice cream on the side. The original recipe is from Whole Foods Market. | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 3, 2013 10:32:46 PM | | Mango Salsa Jun 3rd 2013, 21:10 Who knew what I've been missing all these years. This did not last very long. The recipe from Iyengar21 at Allrecipes said it serves 8, but it was too hard to stop eating. I'd recommend doubling or tripling if you want to share with more than one other person. This did not rest for 30 minutes before eating. That step was optional in my book. :) | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 3, 2013 10:10:43 PM | | Mango Salsa Jun 3rd 2013, 21:09 Who knew what I've been missing all these years. This did not last very long. Substitute sugar snaps for snow peas, if you like. Use more peas than the recipe calls for, for a vegetable side. Good with roasted meats, especially veal. From "The Versatile Grain", by Sheryl and Mel London. This is so versatile that everyone can get breakfast their own way. Use whatever you hearts desire in each omelet. I usually set up an "Omelet Bar" (diced or shredded, multiple choice items), and everyone grabs what ever they want. We mark each bag going into the pot with the initials of each person. So much fun. This works great over a campfire (if you have a way to put a pan over it to boil), or you can use your stove-top. My ingredient list is only approx. I never really measure, we just grab and mix. Have fun with this. Our grand-kids love this. Enjoy. | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 3, 2013 6:23:46 PM | | Wake-Up Smoothie Jun 3rd 2013, 17:22 This smoothie is from The Eating Well Diabetes Cookbook | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 3, 2013 6:22:57 PM | | |
