Reese's Cookies Jun 1st 2013, 22:01 I got this recipe from a college buddy's mom many years ago. It is the BOMB! | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 1, 2013 11:01:56 PM | | Easy & Healthy Banana "Ice Cream" Jun 1st 2013, 21:38 After seeing this idea floating around the web, I thought I'd experiment a little. Three simple ingredients, no sugar added, no ice cream machine needed... How much healthier and easier could it get? This "ice cream" is smooth like soft serve and naturally sweet. Plus it has the potential for so many add-ins (dark chocolate chips, chopped strawberries, nuts... just to name a few). Please note "Cooking Time" includes time needed to cure in the freezer. If you are as excited as my 4-year-old was to eat this "ice cream", you may choose to serve it directly after turning out of the food processor instead of freezing for 2-4 hours, but please be aware that it will be soft and melt much faster. My daughter, the best taste-tester around, approves, and I hope you do too! | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 1, 2013 10:38:27 PM | | Beer-Steamed Potato Hobo Pack Jun 1st 2013, 20:55 From: MarthaStewart.com - 2013 For grilling season. Layer hot, scrambled eggs in a crusty, toasty baguette, wrap 'em up and tie with a bow. Simple, filling and comforting. In Niger they wrap them in newspaper but any paper will do. The people of Niger often add a leafy vegetable called Malahiya – indigenous throughout the region, but here spinach is used. This differs from traditional sorbet recipes, as it doesn't include simple syrup. Honestly, I didn't have time to make simple syrup from scratch. It would have required way too long to chill to the appropriate temperature. I instead used a mixture of ice-cold water, lemon juice, confectionery sugar and almond extract. "Cooking Time" includes time needed to churn in an ice cream maker as well as time needed to cure in the freezer. If you are as eager as I was to eat this sorbet, you may choose to serve it directly after churning without freezing for 2-4 hours, but please be aware that the sorbet will be soft and melt faster. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family! The name of the salad comes from the love of Russian nobility for the French language and the use of a traditional vinaigrette in the original salad. | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 1, 2013 6:06:14 PM | | American Kitchen Classic French Vinaigrette Jun 1st 2013, 16:20 The classic Vinaigrette is a salad dressing in the French cuisine. Other cuisines that have had interactions with the French also offer vinaigrettes but with local variations. A basic vinaigrette is nothing more than 3 parts oil and 1 part vinegar with a pinch of salt. This recipe expands on the basic recipe and gives you a bit more flavor. | Rating: 0 Created: Jun 1, 2013 5:20:34 PM | | |
