Marinade for Chicken May 11th 2013, 20:22 From a letter box drop. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 9:22:58 PM | | Healthy Fresh Veggie, Herbs and Barley Salad May 11th 2013, 18:49 A very healthy alternative to pasta salad for picnics or pot lucks. This recipe was given to me by Gail Johnston, my Broker. She ad libs it and I took liberties with the veggies I included. She adds dried fruit like cranberries or raisins, but I omitted those for this version. Her recipe also calls for black beans, I only had Garbanzos, so thats what I used. Again, ad lib with what you like. Enjoy! | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 7:49:12 PM | | Ricers May 11th 2013, 18:09 Crispy rice cookie. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 7:09:36 PM | | Prinsles May 11th 2013, 18:00 Buttery rich delightful cookie. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 7:00:30 PM | | Prinsles May 11th 2013, 17:59 Buttery rich delightful cookie. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 6:59:55 PM | | Uncle Ben's Fiesta Chicken May 11th 2013, 17:25 From the back of an Uncle Ben's Natural Whole Grain Brown Rice package. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 6:25:49 PM | | Non-Toxic Reusable Cleaning Wipes May 11th 2013, 17:25 Frugal Wellness blog. For spot cleaning around the house. Slightly revised. The original used Dr. Bronner's, but mixing Dr. B's with vinegar makes the soap break down into a mess. I had vinegar which I infused with orange and lemon peels. Smells better! I also used Tea Tree of an anti-bacterial addition. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 6:25:22 PM | | Bacon Gruyere Bread May 11th 2013, 16:54 I have not tried this yet, but it sounds delish. Your thighs might not thank you, but your taste buds will for this savory and jazzed up French Bread that goes great with soup and salads. I got this from The English Kitchen web site, who says all English cuisine is boring? :) Also, I think it might need less bacon than called for, 20 pieces seems like a lot. Might try adding a tiny bit of minced garlic too. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 5:54:56 PM | | Easy White Bean and Sausage "Cassoulet" (Vegetarian) May 11th 2013, 16:47 DH and I made this recipe from the Field Roast website a few days ago. We thought it was pretty good for being so easy and quick to make. Field Roast is a brand that makes very good vegetarian sausages, among other vegetarian products. It can be found at Whole Foods. For the mixed herbs, I used sage, chives, and thyme. | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 5:47:52 PM | | British Pub Pickled Eggs May 11th 2013, 16:05 Pickled eggs are popular fare for pub-goers and low-carbers. Eggs used for pickling should have clean, sound shells. Small or medium eggs are usually a good choice for pickling so the seasoning can penetrate deeply into the egg. Fresh eggs are the best to use for pickling to ensure the highest quality possible since the eggs will be stored over a relatively long period of time. However, eggs at least a few days old will peel better after boiling. This is a refrigerator pickle only and are good for months properly refrigerated (if they last that long). ;-) Courtesy of helpwithcooking.com | Rating: 0 Created: May 11, 2013 5:05:57 PM | | |
