May 19th 2014, 17:23

In just a few minutes you can have fresh off the cob, creamed corn. It's much better than canned cream corn and you know exactly what's in it with nothing you can't pronounce

Stove Top Pot Roast With Gravy, Potatoes and Carrots
May 19th 2014, 17:22

Using an inexpensive cut of meat you can make the most moist roast you've ever tasted. Even cold left overs remain moist and tender. Using this method also produces wonderful gravy to serve over the meat and potatoes

"Hjort" Swedish Deer Meatballs
May 19th 2014, 16:51

Hjort is Swedish for deer. This is a very basic swedish meatball recipe using deer. Antelope can also be substituted. I use my meatballs in spaghetti, barbeque sauce, and wrapped in bacon.

Gazpacho from Jamie Deen
May 19th 2014, 16:51

Saw this recipe on the Jamie Deen Show. We were having a Mexican/Spanish dinner and I thought I would make it. It turned out great. It tasted very similar to the Gazpacho we had in Spain years ago.It was very good and everyone liked it. I am counting chill time as cook time.

Potato - Herb Waffles
May 19th 2014, 16:51

Chives, thyme, green onions and parsley add an herbaceous flair to crispy mashed potato waffles. The kids at school said they had a "French fry" taste, and they are a cheap and easy option for breakfast or dinner. Leftovers freeze beautifully too - pop them in the toaster for a quick dinner starch (or savoury breakfast - try it topped with maple syrup and bacon, or molasses baked beans!).
