Creamy Garlic Parmesan Dressing
Sep 3rd 2013, 19:19

This stuff is so good and so easy. It makes a big batch and still doesn't last long in my family. I found that the cheap store brand Italian dressing works the best. If the raw garlic is too much for you, you can substitute garlic powder instead.

Mom's Paleo Stir-Fry
Sep 3rd 2013, 15:00

My brother follows the Paleo lifestyle, and my mom made up this dish when he and I were both over for a visit one night. It was so good! Also, if desired, it is easily adaptable, switching out veggies or meats for whatever suits your preference. To keep it truly Paleo, do not substitute tofu for your protein.

Fire-And-Iceberg Salad
Sep 3rd 2013, 14:50

At my child's preschool they sometimes serve miniature piles of torn iceberg lettuce tossed with French dressing. I can understand why: The crunch is fun and the dressing candy-sweet. When made at home, where you can control the sugar and add some heat and smoked paprika, French dressing is a more interesting concoction. I like it spicy, because I find that a little chile fire goes a long way toward igniting the cold crisp heart of the iceberg. Torn radicchio—raging pink—adds color and maturity.
