Quick Bolognese Sauce Mar 7th 2014, 21:24 My daughter asked me for spaghetti and meat sauce one night for dinner. Unfortunately, my favorite recipe takes about 3 hours from start to finish and it was already 4:00 PM, so I decided to come up with a quick version of the recipe. It not only cuts down time (it was ready in 30 minutes!), but we all agreed that we enjoyed this version even more! Hooray for small victories! | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 7, 2014 9:24:40 PM | | Apple Double Crisp Mar 7th 2014, 18:54 This Apple Crisp is a little different in that you put a small amount of the crisp on the bottom of the dish before the apples and than the rest of the crisp on top of the apples. It's a favorite with our family and friends! | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 7, 2014 6:54:56 PM | | Kale With Beans and Potatoes Mar 7th 2014, 18:53 This recipe was inspired by a kale side dish recipe I got from a friend. It is a very colorful and flavorful dish. I modified it to be more in keeping with a Nutritarian eating style and added beans and sunflower seeds to make it into a main course. You can reduce prep time by using pre-chopped or frozen kale, frozen onion and carrots and jarred garlic. | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 7, 2014 6:53:29 PM | | Pork Chops With Mustard Sauce Mar 7th 2014, 17:31 Listed below are two variation. The "stir-ins" of capers or cornichons add just enough je ne sais quoi to make the dish really sing. The guest offered copycat recipes for many famous products. I've seen other copycat recipes for KFC's chicken but this one comes closest for me plus it's baked instead of fried which just seems healthier to me. The original recipe called for 1 package of Lipton cup-a-soup mix and 1 package of Good Seasons dry Italian salad dressing mix but Food.com didn't recognize these terms so I had to figure out amounts If you have any questions just send me a note and i'll try and help. | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 7, 2014 4:20:55 PM | | Craisy Cho-Conut Bliss Cookies - Variation #2 Mar 7th 2014, 16:20 This is a modification of my original cookies found at http://www.food.com/recipe/craisy-cho-conut-bliss-cookies-513770. I was out of shredded coconut, so I adjusted the coconut flour and added tapioca flour, and reduced the amount of liquid. I also changed the process some, to try to make it easier and faster to make these... Gotta keep up with everybody who's gobbling them up... | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 7, 2014 4:20:25 PM | | Vegan Creamy Sweet Potato Soup Mar 7th 2014, 16:19 This recipe was inspired by a sweet potato soup recipe I got from a friend. I modified it to be more in keeping with a Nutritarian eating style. It gets its creaminess from cashew cream. You can reduce prep time by using frozen onion and sweet potato. It is good served hot or cold. | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 7, 2014 4:19:25 PM | | |
