Very Green Fish Stew Mar 15th 2014, 20:59 From "One Good Dish" by David Tanis. Lots of intriguing recipes in this book, this one caught my attention. Hoping to make it soon. Prep time is estimated. | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 15, 2014 8:59:17 PM | | Hake Curry Mar 15th 2014, 18:51 Adapted from The Curry Guy's blog. I didn't bread the fish and used all greek yogurt to make it grain free and low calorie. Serve with white rice. | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 15, 2014 6:51:33 PM | | Creamy Poblano Mac & Cheese Mar 15th 2014, 14:17 Recipe from Campbell's. I was shocked at how wonderfully this worked, once I realized that an electric mixer (hand or stand) is not optional for proper consistency! | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 15, 2014 10:49:05 AM | | Honeyed Carrot Cake Butter Mar 15th 2014, 10:44 A honey-sweetened apple and carrot puree is cooked down to a luscious, caramel-like spread before being laced with ground walnuts. Whether on your morning bagel or piped onto cookies or into phyllo shells for dessert, it's a winner! | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 15, 2014 10:44:03 AM | | Earl Grey Tea Cookies Mar 15th 2014, 10:29 Entered for safe-keeping, from Carrie Vasios Mullins, editor of "Serious Eats: Sweets" blog. Whole tea leaves are more potent than brewed tea. These are crisp, great for dunking. Earl Grey's light citrus flavor with vanilla notes hits the spot. The dough is easy to roll out, so you can use any cookie cutter you have, including those with small or sharp accents. So very good and decadent on a cold night! For an adult version try adding Frangelico or Tia Maria to the milk while warming. Last year I made this hot chocolate recipe using up left over or easter eggs! | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 15, 2014 6:05:59 AM | | Coffee Granita Mar 15th 2014, 04:35 I think Jeremy Vincent's recipe's are just wonderful, and this one does not disappoint. Everyone just loved this cooling desert on a very hot summers evening. Use coffee that you would love to drink. Because this recipe is so simple, that will be your main flavour: I am posting as written with Jeremy's suggested variations from the "Weekly Times" -- This recipe uses strong espresso coffee as the flavouring ingredient and water to dissolve the sugar. You can make your granita even stronger by substituting more coffee for the water component. The vanilla can be swapped for nearly any flavouring you like with coffee. Try using a tablespoon of Kahlua, orange zest, or even cocoa powder. The chocolate will give your ice a cloudier colour, but the flavour is great. | Rating: 0 Created: Mar 15, 2014 4:35:47 AM | | |
