I was looking for a good bread to make rolls for Thanksgiving and maybe to turn into a bread pudding. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I modified my whole wheat bread recipe and this was the delicious outcome.

Martha's words: Soaking a turkey overnight in a solution of salt and water ensures moist results. When you add aromatics to the brine, the resulting roast is also infused with a subtle character all its own. Follow our instructions to prepare a perfect brined turkey for your next feast. Makes enough brine for one 18- to 20-pound turkey. My words: I am using 3 different recipes for the Thanksgiving Bird this year. We are changing things up this year and going a bit more traditional. I will be using this Brining recipe for the first time Nov. 2013 I cannot wait to brine my first bird! Also trying the stuffing from recipe#254347 and the roasting method from recipe#442389. Wish me luck!
