Asian-Inspired Pan-Seared Turkey Cutlets With Maple-Soy Sauce
Jul 25th 2014, 17:50

These turkey cutlets are juicy and seasoned with garlic, onion, ginger, sesame and a touch of cayenne for a hint of heat. Finished with a sweet and salty maple-soy sauce, these turkey cutlets are a tasty combination of Asian flavors. Please note that preparation time includes time needed to marinate the turkey cutlets.

Yogurt and Dill "Crack" Sauce
Jul 25th 2014, 17:50

My 2- and 6-year old boys will eat just about anything if they can put this sauce on it. It's great on lamb meatballs or kebabs, grilled chicken, raw vegetables, and potato chips!

Cole Slaw ... Twisted
Jul 25th 2014, 17:50

Clear out the fridge using most of the crunchy stuff, broccoli stems, apples (replaces or adds to cabbage) or whatever you want to try. All veggie ingredients are approximate, feel free to improvise, I do. I'm thinking I'll try some zucchini, julienned, maybe? The dressing is what makes this work as a side dish or on a sandwich when the kids show up with the grandbabies. If you are out of mayo, try ceasar or italian bottled dressing. Exceptionally versatile recipe.

This really is a One Dish Meal and has been a favorite of my friends for years. It is quick and easy to prepare and if your friends are big into pasta dishes, then this will be their favorite as well.

No Fail BBQ Baby Back Ribs (Grill)
Jul 25th 2014, 17:50

Pushing 52 years old, I have tried every BBQ rib recipe out there. Slow smoked, different rubs, etc.. Sure, lot of them good, some of them just OK. Problem is, never could seem to repeat a good recipe, so came up with this. Super easy, super simple, and one that has been requested at least 20 times by friends and family. If you like Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ sauce, you'll probably like this.

Spiced Carrot Cake (Cook's Illustrated)
Jul 25th 2014, 17:49

If you like nuts in your cake, stir 1 1/2 cups toasted chopped pecans or walnuts into the batter along with the carrots. Raisins are also a good addition; 1 cup can be added along with the carrots. If you add both nuts and raisins, the cake will need an additional 10 to 12 minutes in the oven. Cooking/Prep times do not include 2-hour cooling time.
